Poem -

The Bench.

Sitting alone on a bench in the park.
A passing woman and her dog both stop and shit in front of me and then both of them at me bark.
A religious priest walks by me singing highway to hell and smoking a big fat joint.
I look up to heaven and say lord what is the point.
Above me in the sky a flying pink elephant stops and on my ginger head does shit.
I say to myself bloody hell this is a crazy place to sit.
Beside me sits a bear dressed in a pink dress and in pain with a sore head.
That’s it the end, yes the grumpy bastard killed me and now I’m sitting in heaven on a safer park bench heavenly alive but earthly dead.
