The Black Widow Spider

The Black Widow Spider

Crawling up the cobwebbed window with her prey above her eyes was a deadly black widow spider ready to pounce upon her prize.. a gypsy moth flapped and fluttered caught amidst the silky shreds, tho the spider sensed her panic she dangled, daintly on her gossamer threads

Up above the frightful scene with the moth in fear and dread was a larder in the corner full of flies cocooned all decayed and dead..yet the brazen black widow spider wasn’t hungry for her feed, tho another foolish flyer was to add to her ghoulish greed..so the sneaky spider hung and waited until her moth could move no more then as swiftly as her spindly legs were able she dragged the meal up to her store

On an old derelict building broken down with ill repair there stands a lean-to wall with a doorway open in the chilly air.. tho the woodrot riddled door once was a grand entrance to a house, millions of minute pin-prick holes have been the feast of many a louse..but up at the very top of the arched doorway the black widow spider wanders free, she hoards and hides her fiendish friends who care to call on her company
