~ The Blood Rain Of Seasons ~

~ The Blood Rain Of Seasons ~

In summers past, I died
a child,
and in the slow melt
of autumnal
colors, (all yellow and slippery)
on a greenishly
morphing morning,
I fell
and was born again,
across borders
that separate
realities
timelessly bent,
as winter's
cold
and icy death
came upon me
with a liars promise
of early
springtime, where once
again
as I died a child
I morosely
wept,
a desperate pool
of passing years
an inevitable, unstoppable,
discontent,
as suicide's
relentless pursuit,
of
the blood rain
in seasons,
so incomplete,
and
sadly spent...

This is a powerful piece Tony.
Your Blood Rain Seasons is like a time capsule of despair, that many suffer. The use of the seasons really gives the reader a sense of time passing. Yet the misery clings to every living moment

This is a brilliant piece that places the reader on a spiritual journey, from the perspective of a soul who suffers when in this particular world

Impressive my friend and definitely being Pinned :)

Your good friend Gwen x

Tony so forlorn brimming then overflows with loneliness and hopelessness in equal tragic measures.
Brilliant and powerful told from that doomed/damned and lost soul, one can't help feel sorry for, as that souls clock is ticking until a gotterdammerung of said soul's own making, of a downfall by their own hands.
Captivating to read and beautifully penned of personal angst alas with no second chances.
For a choice has been made and the die has been cast.
A tricky subject matter to write about, but your poem is a great read from that soul's tragic perspective.
In a way doubly tragic, first to commit to it (and as I read into it) perhaps a tad of regret.
Irreversible regret.
Brilliant and written with great aplomb by a poet so skilled as your good self.
Thanks Tony and quickly pinned my poetry brother.
And full poetry kudos also bestowed.

Beautiful imagery Tony, it’s been a while scrolling through my past work I came across your encouraging comments that kept me writing, although the child in us has died let the light of possibilities in the present and future give us hope in our own potential. Continue to encourage and inspire us all ❤️🙏🏽
