Poem -
~ The Blood Rain Of Seasons ~
In summers past
I died a child
And in in the slow melt
Of autumnal
Colors
(all yellow and slippery)
On a greenishly
Morphing morning
I fell
And was born again,
Across borders
That separate realities
Timelessly bent
As winter's cold
(that icy death)
Came upon me
With a liars promise
Of an early
Springtime
Where once again
I died
As a child
Who morosely wept
That desperate pool
Of passing years
That inevitable, unstoppable,
Discontent
Circled
Relentlessly pursuing
The blood rain
Of seasons
So sadly
Spent...
