They want to ban what some people refer to as good Books to make room for these?
This is what they're fighting to keep?
Surely, no matter what LGBTQIABCD you support...
Why do Teachers appear appalled when their argument comes to them in a Crowd?
They have permission to take your children for surgery without Parents consent...
It's fine if they're different when they return home...
Does your Child have permission to call home to at least say...
They went on a Field Trip to the Hospital for surgery that day?
Do you get to wait to hear all about it when they get home?
Yet, people are offended when an adult says these things?
No wonder why Children are confused...

Who would be they see as truthful?

Love what you've written here, Sparrowsong. I was having a conversation of this type the other day ... not exactly this, but very similar! The world's gone bonkers.
Parents should love and protect their children and be informed at all times by the school. End of.
And what's this they, them thing going on? We say they or them when we are referring to someone's cute dog who we don't know the sex of. It's a "better not embarrass myself " card, not a bloody life choice.
And having to put trigger warnings on books too. Because there's actually people out there that buy a book called, let's say, The Unfortunate Visitor to Bloodaxe Hall and then get terribly upset ( no, distraught) because the book had some rather nasty things happen in it.
I agree with a lot of things but a line has to be drawn, clearly drawn. The line, at the moment, is broken — and hazy at best.
