God took your soul within His hands, then blew it down to Earth;

It landed in your Mother’s womb, nine weeks later she gave you birth!

When you were only twelve weeks old, your breeder ran an ad;

Pedigreed Bichon Frieses for sale, three sweet girls, and three fine lads!

We called and said we were interested, we’d like to come and look;

And the moment that we saw you there, not much longer had it took!

For we knew you were special right away, so perfect inside and out;

With your gorgeous face and loving heart, “we want this one” did we shout!

We brought you home to start your life, forever by our sides;

We named you Nico after our dog Nicki, who seven years before had died!

You learned your lessons so very quick, housebroken and walking on a leash;

But you made both of us your students too, for much you’d also teach!

You taught us how to love all life, no matter how large or small;

You led us to the sacred paths, where Nirvana’s beauties fall!

A perfect soul God sent to us, for almost fourteen years;

You’ll live forever in our hearts, which will always hold you dear!
