THE BRINK OF WAR

THE BRINK OF WAR

After all
The suffering
The clowns in the circus
The bubbles in the air
The hydrogen out there
Boils and lice
Won't think twice
For this
A blood stain
Upon the human race
Upon the brink of war

In the bunkers
The stinkers
The blinkers on and
In which humanity stares
The jokers
The pokers
The armchair philosophers who
Look into
Their crystal balls
Remembering the past war
The child
Who cannot think
That WE are on the brink
The brink of war
Shed a tear
For the one
In the path of fear
Has the end come
Has our end come
We remember war
As we remember life
Freedom,  peace
It's so damn nice
Jokers and pokers
Prodding -
On the eve
  And on the brink
In tears
 Tests
Missiles
Nuclear
NUCLEAR
An end to end all fears
       In our own dust
  Our own inhuman trust
We shalt not ever again
Build nuclear weapons
No we shalt not
Our own destruction nigh
Say goodbye
On this day
 This night
This, the brink
    Of war

THE BRINK OF WAR
