Poem -

The broken can flourish...

The broken can flourish...

As I held your hand we took a walk around the world
I showed you the cracks that has came since birth
Please don't shed tears
This broken land can flourish
Devour our riches for the good of mankind
The dreams, that once were a reality
Can become ancient symbology
We are the cavemen of 21st century technology
But what we express, is real unrequited love
We have surrendered to the voice of nature's promise
Now, we can rebuild together, living a life that's honest
You told me to release your hand
You knew your way back
It's been a long time since I've seen you
We're seeds to the unknown
Unawares if we have even grown
Mother,
Please show me your face
Mother,
Hold out your hand once more...
