The Bugaboo’s Burden 👹

Ahh that cruel curse from an ugliness perception
An he stares at this grotesque freak of nature in his own reflection
Ohh but how he yearns for some solace on this sad, sight of inspection
If only a Bugaboo’s burden wasn’t an absolute imperfection
Alas warts dangle from the end of this monstrous chin
Where black crooked teeth fill a toothless grin
And oh my goodness me his skeleton-like structure is so scarily thin
Making those old bones in his bent body, rattle with demonic din
So he looks down at his fearful face in his looking glass
Where the rolling river runs down through the valley’s green with grass
And he cries buckets of compassion for his own insufferable morass
Slamming that mirror heavily onto the hard ground with shattered glass…
