The Call Of The Sea

The Call Of The Sea

When I was a young man disillusioned with life With a sleeping bag and rucksack on my back of to the sea I'd go, and there I'd live to be free for a while Total lack of respect for the dangers out there, but fear not issue when young there I would sit on the beach to watch the sun going down amazing sunsets to be seen

Then off to sleep, I'd go gently drifting to dreams, with the soothing sounds of the sea  the smell of the salt water

sounds of laughter people
on their jet ski's and boats down on the sea, A joy to the ear not forgetting seagulls nesting In the cliffs  above me
S
adly no more am I able to go and sleep by the sea, because of my stupid old ageing bone's for I can longer kneel or even bend down, no way could
I sleep In a bag by the sea no longer will I hear the sounds of the sea and those beautiful seagulls that nested In the cliffs above me.
