The Chameleon

The chameleon.
It Changes its appearance like the annual seasons.
It changes to survive,
It changes to fit in,
It changes to get attention.
But doing it will never be enough.
He may be colorful on the outside,
But inside he is not.
Its Life is a never ending Great Depression,
But soon it will hopefully get better.
Loved ones will soon depart from illness, friends leaving you like breath from one’s body.
People are on the streets, thousands passing away everyday.
Its mind thinks that changing could help fix that all.
If it tries to be loved by everyone, shouldn’t it feel that way?
No.
Cause The Chameleon has to learn its own beauty.
