The Clown

The Clown

Here I am the clown
Even though I'm very down

My tears I won't let you see
As I make you cry with glee

My mask I won't let slip
As we run, jump and skip

Even when I want the ground to swallow me
My laugh is all you'll see

Maybe one day I'll be happy
That day you'll see the real me
