“The countryside is shut!!”

Hello from the inside
I watch out my windows as I hide
I see six people walking by 
they are not social distancing I am wondering why
Are they disobeying commonsense as their Spaniel pishes on my fence
I give them such a dirty look then they yell at me some gobbledygook

Huh they give humanity a bad name and they are not locals what a shame
They shouldn’t even have driven here to climb the hills with all their gear
Haversacks upon their backs along with all their dam wisecracks
I make a hand gesture to “Go home”
This is not the time to come and roam

Our countryside is fresh and clean
wide open pastures lush and green
But all of it is out of bounds with only the noise of farm animal sounds
Now is the time for isolation 
We are all aware of this situation
So why the hell does some people  ignore and feel the need to explore

Travelling miles away from their home to walk past my house to have a roam
This isn’t right at all and so unfair
as these idiots scowl at me and stare
I move from my window and away they strut 
We need a sign up
