The Cries Of Sky

Something made me and
twas never I
Twas neither my parents, though
I thought for a while
That my mother held every new
moon in her hands
That my father, the oceans and
earth
Did command, but time tells its
stories
And they, just like I, flounder and
question the skies
As they cry, but
Something made me
To be as I am
To be all the essence I yet
Dont understand
To beat red in flesh and to
crumble in bones
To die in beginnings of endings
unknown
Yet... to lay down and lay down,
to nourish an earth
To leak back the blood that was
lent in the birth
But something made me, and
Was it only black soil? What
sense then in purpose
in suffering, in toil...
Am I more than or less than
The point of it all,
For I am wretched for home and,
An end
To the fall

WOW another stellar write!
Thankyiu lovely man x
OMG...this is brilliant. I have often had similar thoughts. A brilliant poem written in your original, classy style x
These thoughts plague me since Judd Tina...what is it all about!!
It does not surprise me at all that you have similar thoughts ...sometimes though...the idea of eternal consciousness terrifies me as much as oblivion!!...I need a third choice 😬...thanks so much😊❤
The third choice...indeed...or even a fourth one if the third one turns out to be crap. So far I have come to the conclusion that being a ghost could be the best option. Or is it? Oh, I dont know. Theres talk of a place called Heaven but I'd only want to go there if I knew everyone and animals were allowed xx
Animals are by far purer than us so they'll be first in. Me...I think I'd like to swing by all the planets for eternity ( with my kids of course and animals) if oblivion isn't an option. I particularly want to visit Saturn and stand on its ice rings. Speaking off...have you read 'Oblivion' by Stevie Smith?...its my new fave...hugs Xx
Saturn!!! Yessss! Will check out "oblivion" now x
Marion, such a hauntingly beautiful and melancholic piece that strikes a chord into every heart that has been through this blighting sadness.
For that's the way it is and seems sometimes
We never really will understand why, but rather learn to live with the unanswered question.
Another captivating write and wonderful poetic piece.x.
Much appreciated lovely man...your words of wisdom are greatly appreciated X
