The Curious Cuckoo ❤️

Oh the curiosity of that clandestine Cuckoo call
Gargling his warbling, but then he goes awol
Coz in those late summer months and right through the wraths of wintertime, he will never, ever call at all
Does he hibernate like the hedgehogs, bears and bats in the Autumn fall ?
Well I thought I should give this bird a mysterious mention as I find it very strange
Why do we not hear him more often, and where on earth does he hideout within his free range?
Wow wouldn’t it be wonderful if the Cuckoo called in the winter months as well, just for a change
But then again I guess this is something that good old Mother nature could only ever rearrange…

Good morning to you Greg 🌹
Lovely poem to start my day Jill. I believe they migrate to Africa. Wish we could all have wings and migrate to warmer places. All that free travel. Though knowing the government, they would find a way to tax the air space lol
Thanks for the morning thoughts today my friend x💜
