The curse of the clock

The curse of the clock

Time ticks on and never ever stops
racing thru like a rocket til’ the daylight drops
Then if one is unlucky enough to lie awake.. those chimes of the clock puts on it’s break
Slowing ticks speed and taking tocks time whilst your heads in a repeat with no reason nor rhyme

The curse of the clock is a devil in disguise.. he will play tricks with his timelessness from dusk to sunrise
Fooling you thinking your watch has stopped.. did it shatter it’s cogs when it slipped and dropped?
Yet when you reach for your wrist watch another ten minutes have crept..Oh my God only ten minutes you say “Jeeesus Wept!!!”
