THE DAILY ROUTINE

THE DAILY ROUTINE

I better get up out of my bed I suppose
Face the day and put on some clothes
Have some breakfast and do the daily routine
Shaving my face and getting myself clean

I will catch the bus to work like I always do
Finish my morning's work and have lunch at two
The afternoon and evening will drag on by
How I wish the time would fly

It's home again at just after eight
Time for a meal I'm not prepared to wait
In bed asleep my day is now complete
The daily routine is no easy street
