The Dance

The Dance

With a whish and a whoosh the leaves fly in the sky

With a twist and a turn they tumble nearby

They gyrate and they jump, they may even pranceΒ

In Mother Nature's most awesome dance

As Autumn descends and Winter arises

The naked tree sleeps and dreams of surprises

Of Spring coming early, with sunshine galore

Dark days are gone, it's Winter no more

The scurry of creatures, the flutter of wings

Bees popping by to pollinate things

Through Summer the trees grow so tall and so proud

And when the wind blows, the branches shout loud

But Autumn returns, the leaves falling fast

Preparing to prance

In Mother Nature's most awesome dance
