The Dangers of Happiness

I standĀ stillĀ
In front of the spectacular sunsetĀ
The glow on my face
The cheesiness of my smileĀ
The sparkles in my eyesĀ
And the warmth of the sun, lifted my soul up
The glistening fires raised me towards the starĀ
The flames raced against me
I ran and ranĀ
The fires had caught meĀ
I was engulfed by the flamesĀ
