THE DAY AFTER THE AFTERNOON BEFORE

I stepped out my house it started to rain 
Sums up my mood following yesterday's anguish and pain
It wasn't a war and nobody had died 
However adults were upset and little kiddies cried

Instead of all the sadness let's all be proud 
We are Derby County let's sing it loud 
To win at Wembley would have been a wonderful dream 
It wasn't to be but let us give thanks to all of the team 

Frank and his management staff deserve a mention too
