Poem -

The day I have nothing to say

The day I have nothing to say
I will speak to you about rainy days and
walks in the fields where ears of wheat
and fern have moulded my eyes
so I can see how I have narrowed this path
to make it mine.
I will use the words in a book beside my table
and page by page I would select
your taste, your touch, your mourns
so versatile, with immutable purpose.
I will talk to you about a gap
where my lacerated flesh split
and not supple instrument, not needle, nor fibre
can suture this wound.
Dismembered by a feeling
I will sit on the road deserted
by deer, flies and swallows
sick and tired of humans
veering off course

The fish of the sea

I really liked this TC, it's got an awesome sense of flow to it. It has a writers voice to it. Very very mysterious it feels.

Hello TC,Ā
I can’t wait to read more from you. This is a beautiful worded piece. That shines through its use of metaphors and lushes imagery. Truly a poetic gemstone hereĀ

ā€œwhere ears of wheat
and fern have moulded my eyes
so I can see how I have narrowed this path
to make it mineā€

Such stunning lines that capture the readers imagination. This world can feel difficult to swallow. I felt a sense of detachment from others. Yet a strong will and need to remain true to yourself.Ā

Thanks for sharing this fabulous writeĀ
Gwen :)
