THE DAY MISTER SHAW WENT TO WAR

He thought the sun was out but wasn't sure
The day Mister Shaw went to war
His friends all cried but his mum cried more
The day Mister Shaw went to war

He wondered what he was fighting for
The day Mister Shaw went to war
His officer said the world he would explore
The day Mister Shaw went to war

He would finish up dead in 1944
The day Mister Shaw went to war
His comrades saw blood guts and gore
The day Mister Shaw went to war
