THE DEMOLITION MAN

He was known in his city as the demolition man
Turned up for a job in his bright yellow van
Whatever needed removing he was the guy
Old factories and houses destroyed in the blink of an eye

He shows no remorse for the places he blows
All part of his job description I suppose
These places have so many precious memories within
Gone forever as people reminisce what might have been

The demolition man is not callous, cruel or unkind
One of the nicest men you should meet and find
It's just so sad that memories are taken away
The demolition man let's face it has the final say
