THE DINER AND THE TRAMP

THE DINER AND THE TRAMP

The diner wonders on which food to eat
The tramp prepares for another night on the street
The diner decides on red or white wine
While the tramp thinks an extra blanket would be fine

The first course over the diner is ready to eat once more
Meanwhile the tramp thinks what the night has in store
The main course for the diner is a tasty steak dish
The tramp looks to the heavens to pray and to wish

The diner now leaves the restaurant bursting at the seams
For the tramp its starvation and broken dreams
