The Distraction
The adversary lifts himself up in the nation,
But his doctrine is false; and has no foundation.
He claims there's no Satan, no devil am I,
Then mimics and mocks, he's the father of lies!
He targets the righteous, the weak and the youth,
He starts with regret and distracts from the truth.
He exploits our weakness and doesn't relent,
Lest we  pull away and even repent.
He's there; just look at fake priests who OPPRESS!
Mixing lies with the truth to subtly fi n e s se.
He can lull you to sleep or attack you head on,
Be very discreet or coerce you  along.
From beHind the schemes can cause you FULL sway,
He'll degrade your esteem or flatter away.
With cunning deceit he seeks to win,
Your soul and your choice through tactics in sin.
His efforts are futile and rendered inept,
Following the Savior and commandments are kept.
Through the Atonement of Christ there is a NEW start,
Repent and always have a prayer in our heart.
Pick up and put on the WHOLE ARMOR of God,
Then hearken and hold to the iron rod!

Hi sparrowsong! yes Esdras Eagle in the Apocrypha, Ezekiel 37.....Malachai,and much more!. When we pull away from the Lord, He removes His influence, and we are left to ourselves! Selfishness has started the spiral down, destruction comes from lack of charity in the hearts of the people. Repentance is the only way back. It is with deep sorrow and sadness that I watch our nation crumble! All the best!
