THE DOCTOR KNEW

Silenced by his officials and left to die 
I shake my head and start to wonder why
He knew about the virus before it started 
Now the poor doctor is sadly departed 

Dr Li should be immortalised forever more
Knew about the Coronavirus that's for sure
Paid for knowing with his own life 
My respects to his family and his wife 

This virus is deadly in every sense 
Making people nervous and very tense
A cure needs to be found and really quick 
Don't like to think of people being terminally sick
