The Door

Where once I was held back by doubt

Now I know what this life is truly about

Where once prone to acts of selfishness

Now I know the beauty of togetherness

Where once I could only see the horizon

Now I know of so much more to rely on

Where once questions were unanswered

Now I know a journey has finally started

Where once the definition of uncertainty

Now I know the meaning of a philosophy

Faith has changed what I am and will be
