The eerie castle

A candlelight was flickering in the bleakness of the night

Orbs danced around the courtyard opaque and bright

Solid ice spikes clung to the castle walls, stalactite and stalagmite

As footsteps crunched along the cobbled path snowy and white

We were on a ghost hunt on the eve of Halloween

As a blizzard blew around about looking like a smokescreen 

Whilst we couldn’t see a thing infront of us or where we had been

So we stood huddled together within this eerie scene

I was all too aware that this was a haunted place

As I stood feeling nausea, ashen in the face

Tho I tried to keep calm, I felt my heartbeat race

It was ticking double time at a very fast pace…
