THE EGG

THE EGG

So she sat on it
And it grew
With pulsing veins
Of blackΒ
Violet
Blue
And she nurtured it
Whispered secrets
In the dead of night
It feasted
Delighted
It knew
She was right
It grew fatterΒ
And bigger
Patient
And silent
Waiting to trigger
And all her energies
As the months came and past
Nurtured this seed
An egg nowΒ
At last
And one day it exploded
Salvation too late
The devil's wrathΒ
Unleashed
The eggs name was
HATE.
