Poem -

THE END

 THE END

I want to think of our story as an open book ... placed on the table
Every day I read a page
Today ... after reading these last lines, I stopped for a moment to reflect ...
Then I took a bookmark ...
I have inserted it between these pages ...
and with a sigh I closed it
... Leaving it resting here ... on the table.
Who knows if one day I will open this book again ... maybe a little dusty ...
... I will remove the bookmark that is positioned where I left it ..
on the last page read ...
I will turn it around and continue my reading ..
Or who knows if one day
… I'll take this book
... Still closed ... and I will place it forever on a bookcase ...
with his bookmark ... still there ... where I left it today ...
And then ... every day when I see him again ...
... I will wonder what his ending might have been ...
... If only I had moved on ...

The fish of the sea

Wasn't expecting the ending.oh I did like this one! We can only dream about how things could be different, but we can experience the way things are! Enjoyed the book analogy, very engaging. Peace and smiles. The Fish of the SeaĀ
