Poem -
THE ESSENCE OF SPARROW
The essence of sparrow
Is the same as my own
For he eats and he sings
Gathers twigs for his home
He bathes in the rain clouds
And flies by the sun
He answers to no one
Has enemies none
In fact
He is higher
In order
Than me
For he commands
The best branch
In the tallest of trees
While I still toil land
Down below.

Lovely Larry, you really are a natural poet who often makes up better lines than those you comment on. I have noticed this. I often wonder on our arrogance in thinking we are far more important and superior to every other living thing. I suspect the sparrow and his friends have only pity for us ...thankyou for taking the time ?
