A child I had become
As I brought laughter and joy into the world
Born at the right time
When words I didn't yet understand were bold

A god I had become
As I towered over people with my presence
The pain and agony that just fled my body 
The answers I knew that never made sense

A demon I had become
As I tortured the people closest to me
The realisation of the misery and wounds inflicted
The questions I could never unsee

A ghost I had become
As I vanished amongst the people, even when standing near
The aftermath of the actions that didn't matter
The solutions I tried finding to hold all what's dear

A human I want to be
As I accept my destiny and faith
The acceptance that for so long I was wrong
The paths I need to follow in order to reconstruct the mess I made
