The facade of death

Torn from a mother's womb,
It's ancient tomb.
Stranded on mother's earth,
It's godlike birth.
A being came to be,
For mankind to see.
A being had to go,
For nobody to know.
Standing in the ashes, surrounded by dirt,
Trying to reach the sun, until it hurt.
Watching in the shadows, where darkness lurks,
Trying to understand both ways of how the world works.
A being came to be,
For mankind to see.
A being had to go,
For nobody to know.
Tears which changed into blood,
Faces rearranged in disturbing ways, nobody ever could.
Everything what's touched erased and dissolved,
Placed into the void of nothingness and forgotten by most.
A being came to be,
For mankind to see.
A being had to go,
For nobody to know.
A mother who became afraid,
Of the creature she helped create.
Made by promising passion,
But filled with miscomprehended hate.
A being came to be,
For mankind to see.
A being had to go,
For nobody to know.
A mother's heart struck,
As a child's body collapsed.
Acceptance that time wasn't ready,
For something as advanced like that.
