The Fall

The leaf it did fall
From the safety of the tree
It flew through the skyÂ
With the winds embrace
That coldness hitÂ
as the water it reached
Swirling aroundÂ
and missing the sky
I flew it saidÂ
You carried me aroundÂ
Pick me up againÂ
Ohh please my wind
The leaf it pleaded,
towards the air
But it wind was silent ,Â
it felt cold in its despair
The water spoke
Come with me little leaf
I will take you placesÂ
And let you see allÂ
The water flowedÂ
Sank into the leaf
Soon it went nowhereÂ
lost in muddy pit.
