The fence has been constructed

She makes a scene coming to her senses.
Or on the street at 4 o'clock in the morning

She's packed up and wheeling her bed.

 

In the trail of your wake a fence was built 

To keep people out like you.

That day the music sounded too good 

 

And the wine went down too well. We were free

From hell. From that day on I never could tell 

That I forgave myself.
