The final draft.

I wrote you a letter of loving thought and enclosed a single kiss,
Nothing more could speak such volume, your heart and soul I clearly miss,
I wrote what my young heart held inside, and died with passion at each take,
The final draft shall not be hindered by a single word or lone mistake,
Never say goodbye in words the angels hear the sound,
And partially my love succumbed to resting in the ground,
only love in wounded hearts can bare the weight of death,
And as I think about you now, give grace my holding breath,
For nothing in this lifetime can nor will define us now,
nor depart what's promised to us, in a sacred vow,
when shadows come and light lays low, ill be there at your side
When the candle burns your name and mine, my love you'll know I've died,
I shall seal the love I have, within our parting flame
In honor of the life we lived, the love we held the same
And when the tree's find solace, and whisper to the winds of time
You shall know I loved beyond the heart the soul and mind.
