The Forest Night

Darkness lowered, a new world arrives
In the forest night
As branches lightly creak, andĀ still the leaves
Deep into, the forest green
Pine needles creating, a silent bedding
Upon the floor of the forests needs
So still the pines, so aromatic
Protective of, the changing seasons
One by one from winter's spring
A brand new birth, upon the breeze
A baby deer, finds mother near
SeeksĀ her comfort
Amid protective years
And the silent forest
Where sometimes at night,
Most suddenly
A fire awakens, everything
But then the great mother
Brings forth the rain
And nature's cry, "The right to live!"
Seems a song
A lullaby
Where the forest's creatures
All feel the appeal
The secret caress
Of the forest night
And the perpetual blanket
Of the warmth
That's here...

Brilliant write Tony. A gentleness to it. Something that is born out of your inner feminine, perhaps.Ā

:) I mean that in the best way possible. There is a concept of Shiva and Shakti in Hinduism and the Vedas. The masculine and feminine in all of us. Empathy, beauty and creation comes from our feminine side, or so it is said. Keep writing brother, keep writing.Ā
