" THE FOREST'S PRIDE "

Darkness comes, as does the forests night
As branches creep, and stills the leaves
Deep into, the forest, green
Pine needles creating, a deep silence
Upon the floor, of the forests seeds
Be still the trees, so protective of
The changing seasons
One by one, from winter, spring
A brand new birth, upon the breeze
A baby deer, finds mother near
And seeks her comfort
In the forests trees,
Sometimes at night, the dead silence
Comes to life, most suddenly
A fire awakens, everything
But then the Mother
Brings forth, a rain
So nature's cry, "Let beauty be!"
Seems a song,
A lullaby,
And we all feel
The forests pride,
Dipped, in nature's music
The forest night...
