The Garden Near The Sea

The Garden Near The Sea

Pray, be still, I have found it here
The place where sweet innocence reappears
Your sacred flowers alive along the promontory
I sit in silent sanctity, in the garden near the sea
---------------------------------------------------------
To weave the madrigals of sweet repose
Brings joy to the voices that sing what I dare compose
You're a muse that cleanses while canticles spray from the sea
I bathe in your scented beauty, I find it so inspiring
--------------------------------------------------------
How can such a place exist without being overrun
Perhaps your organic magic doesn't work for everyone
But somehow my essence changes, simply by entering
Down the stone path, to the marble bench and memory swing
---------------------------------------------------------
Where the cruelties of the world do gently slip away
No light, no color, was ever seen like here at Heaven's gate
To the augury created, so deep inside of me
Which only happens while reflecting in the garden near the sea...

I use to do a lot of meditation when I was young, particularly a type of meditation called rescuing, this involved summoning lost souls who wonder this earthly plain, you need two people for this, one, the rescuer, and another human to act as the conduit for the lost soul, I remember one particularly well, a tortured soul who died savagely. Her soul remained here on earth to live out time, I took her soul from the clutches of time and hate to her version of heaven, I could see the gates, they opened to let us in, I found myself in a most beautiful place, one that you have described so well, I walked with her to a small house, inside it was just a bedroom, I think it was her bedroom as a child, every time I think of this I get a warm feeling running through me, love. She lay down upon the bed and feel asleep, peacefully, I tucked her in and slowly returned to earth plain. Thanks for bringing back the memories so strong.

WOW!! GERARD!!.....I too have been practicing meditation for the better part of my life...... but I've never tried or even heard of 'Rescuing'?..... which is strange because I'm heavily into metaphysics and paranormal activities of many kinds..... so glad you broughtย it to my attention ~ I'll definitely be looking into it!
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  What an amazingly profound experienceย you've described here & to have the ability to recall it with such detailed clarity sounds to me like a gift you must have been born with...... such as the use of that vestigial light organ so many refer to as ' The Third Eye" !?......I am alwaysย happily surprisedย to see how powerful poetry can be for readers when you least expect it!!....... I am SO VERY pleased thatย my little poem helped you back to one of your memories so strongly...... and I am MORE thanย grateful to you for sharing this experience with me and others who happen upon it!!.......Thanx again forย reading and the kind support my friend!!......... Love to you and yours!!......T xo ??? โ™ฅโ™ฅโ˜€โ˜€

Thanks again Tony but be weary regarding rescuing, it can become very tiresome, when you perform a rescue you become a beacon of light which can attract the darkness, be sure to invite the holy spirit into your place of meditation and above all, keep yourself grounded when finished as it can be very difficult to perform within the game of life when you have unwanted spirits following your every move, take care, love and light to you always.
