THE GENIE AND PROUD ITALIAN

Rubbing his lamp hard and out pops the genie
As with tradition three wishes were given she wasn't a meanie
He asked her of course for a Lamborghini
The second request was a lifetime of linguini

An unusual request I know what you thinking
Was the man drunk and had he been drinking?
The answer dear friend is a categorically no
He was a proud Italian and this poem is starting to flow

The final request he gave the genie that day
Is a secret so I'm not going to say
This proud Italian now drives his fancy car
Looks so good almost like a film star

What I hear you say of the linguini on the plate
He gave it all to his homeless mate
