The Gifts Of The Pundits

There are some pundits I’d like to write about, that mean so much to me;

That helped me with my initial fears, of writing poetry!

I’d lost my treasured soulmate, and was feeling lots of pain;

Then I found my only solace, was to start to write again!

It had been almost half a century, since I had this constant urge;

But when my heart got torn to pieces, I felt my thoughts converge!

So I renewed my long lost passion, and created several odes;

I was not sure if they were worthy, or I lacked in talents modes!

One day said my dear wife, Linda, that’s my treasured soulmate true;

 ““I’ve found a place to submit your poems, it’s the “cosmofunnel” we’ll send them to””!

I nervously gave her the green light, as I sat with baited breath;

To submit these lines I’d written, I was scared almost to death!

But an epiphany then happened, as three pundits said to me;

““We can see you’re rather new at this, but we “love” your poetry””!

I could not believe the praise they gave me, as if sent from up above;

So Cherie, Tony, and Georgina, you have my dearest love!
