The Gingerbread House

There are no paths I would not follow
Till I find you
But the gingerbread house is hidden

By overgrown...and gnarled...
Black trees
And everywhere...are hiding things...
They shoot arrows
Straight at me

I think they are angels
They are vicious vile things
Their wings full of poison

Your death...their great sin,
and

You didn't trail breadcrumbs
I don't know where you've gone
But I'll keep searching son
I'll keep moving on

Till I find you...
