The Girl

The Girl

the girl is walking slowly

silently

through the empty streets

she he wraps her arms

around her waist

and shivers once again

she hasn't a jacket

only a thin shirt

to protect her from the cold

she can se the fog

as she exhales

her warm breath against the frigid air

she is beautiful

with her place skin

and snowflakes in her hair

her destination is unknown

she carries on

through the chilling cold

the wind is whipping

the snow is falling

and the girl is soon gone and away
