The golden road and the wolf

Falling threw thought scapesÂ
A 100 noises away from sanity
This and that this and that
Always something to take my attention
To where ever I never wanna be
In this city my soul bleeds
Longs for a calm place
Maybe birds and trees
A nice girl and a few sweet dreams
Thus ends the daydream and I'm back again
Back to the faces back to the filled up spaces
Everyone trying to hold on to the wind
Never really understanding which way it blows
Like everything I suppose an ironic world
lost in a Roman wilderness off pain and all the children are insane
This is the endÂ
The end of the road it seems from where I'm standingÂ
Just what's going on I wonder as i sip another coffee
A distraction a pied piper of Hamlin complex
Suffer little children to come unto me
I watched them follow him off the golden roadÂ
And weeped as the wolf lead my brothers and sisters
Off out there beyond the pines the dark side of the moon
The dark land of pan panic
When I watch and stare into that nothingness I see the eyes
In dreams that become nightmares I've seen them shape shift
The children of the wolf the incubi and succubi
They rule in hades and feed like witches on Hansel and GretelsÂ
Suffer little children to come unto Me for thine is the kingdom of heaven
Have mercy on me a sinner
