THE GOLDEN RULE

The golden rule is an important thing to know 
Always apply it when your life is on show 
Remember it wisely and never break that rule 
Without doing it you would finish up as a fool

The golden rule is simple enough to understand 
Known throughout every sea, field and land 
Who invented this rule I cannot comment or say 
It's so important to know it as you go about your day
