It lay in the harmony between man
And nature
Where beauty is perfumed
Glitters
Where the frolicking of faeries
Is but a flicker
Between morning's new light
And the momentary
Perception
Of that warm blanket
Riding the supple shoulders
Of night's protection
Warming
The ever-morphing
Energy of life
Like seeds planted
For the benefit of man
Like the Dali Lama
On his path
To enlightenment....
It is revealed
In each season of the year
An image rarely seen
But for that fleeting moment
When the penetrating eye
Is most discerning
And creates
By the harmony so inspired
In this
A most delicate ballet
Where new music
Plays
And the gentle touch
Of our creator's
Sweet breath
Comes alive...

Wow Tony, this is some write indeed. The spiritual transition and new manifestations through the cycle of life. For it effects everything including ourselves, just as the seasons change, we to progress and shift. I love the vivid imagery you paint with your well crafted lines.

Yes absolutely seriously .. I studied, trained & taught a martial art called Shorinji Kempo for many years & in 1990 registered as a Kongo Zen Buddhist priest .. (feel free to Google, you may even see me in a photo or two)
Anyway as a consequence, I got wind of the fact the Dali Lama was undertaking another tour of the UK with most of the venues being small, often remote and relatively unimportant facilities ..
The one in question was the more impressive Brixworth Village Hall, which was only in the next village to where I was living at the time ..
At the end of his very informal (despite the minders) presentation and discussion and during question and answer time, I got the opportunity to ask him about Bardo (I guess maybe another Google might be necessary) .. Before leaving, he approached me, thanked me for attending, showing an interest and asking my question which he admitted he was not expecting but enjoyed .. He ended by saying in a complex world, we should not be surprised by anything, or words to that effect .. we then each bade goodbye to each other by demonstrating & sharing of the Namaste or Rai the symbolic palms together in front of the chest, like you see on the telly .................... all in all he seemed like a very nice geezer .................................
