Poem -
THE HERO IN YOU
Did you finally see the hero in you?
The hero that brought smiles and warmed hearts...
Running from the rain as though you would melt...
The funny way whipped cream would touch your nose eating over an ice cream sundae...
When the old lady almost ran you over and you said bad aim maybe, next time...
When the lighting so close to striking you and you laughed and said nice one...
You were not afraid as you said it really must be my lucky day...
Maybe, I will play the lotto and strike it rich or maybe, the next one in line will be the lucky one...
Wouldn't that be nice?
We'll have to do this again real soon...
The hero in you...

Hi Sparrowsong, I can relate ## As a single mother, I've done sooooo many things that only men could ## bravo to myself ##when I arrived home safely through rush hour ## when my rice was cooked perfectly, my laundry is done, when I paid all the bills,## I can go on and on ## YES! I did finally see the hero in me!!
