I have searched thru all the alleyways and even scrutinised the walls

But all that I am hearing, are those hooting Owlet calls

I have not seen you in absolutely ages, Oh how I long to see your face

Would you be willing to meet up with me, another time, at a different place?

Are you not a little kinda curious to see if I am just the same?

Months have passed since wev’e been parted, not to speak would be a shame

I have hung around for ages, so I guess that you have gone

That timelessness of time hasn’t healed the bitterness that left us sad, when all was said and done

But if you can walk away from our memories and put away your foolish pride

I could maybes help to heal the hurtin’ heartache, that is harbouring inside

Just remember it takes two to tango, and that both of us  played our part
