Poem -

the inevitable tide

the inevitable tide

The ear is silent

To the sounds of the battlefield

Mother protect me

From this inevitable tide

For the Russians are coming

 And the mortars of killing,

As the chemicals are releasing

And the children are dying

For the migrants are fleeing

Through the walls not holding

The dead and the dying

Ukraine, Syria, South China Sea

North Korea, ISIS....

Fair enough Jai but methinks the tyrants are closer to home.

But I agree with poets against war. Cheers for provoking poem.
