" THE INEXPLICABLE SAMURAI SWORD "
The discipline required to puppeteer unseen
Fills the master weaver with the fragrance of finesse
And the confidence created, in the depths of the man
Promotes the perfect vessel
To fold, one thousand times
The incomprehensible art
Of birthing, a one of a kind
Samurai Sword...
Like the human hand
Beyond even technology's grasp
To even begin to understand
The sacred precision
Of a near metaphysical diadem
There are simply no words
For the God-like creator
Of a true Samurai Sword...
The mind, the craftsman
The glorious gift bestowed
Upon such gold and diamond endowed hands
Spins words, not even created yet
How is it then possible
That such beauty can even be observed?
For the simple perception of Deity
In natural form
Shines singularly, scorching
As in the moment savored
At the holy unsheathing
Of a perfect,
Samurai Sword...

Hi Tony Great poem I have a good friendÂ
who used to do one of the martial artsÂ
and she was a fourth Dan, In a competitionÂ
she once entered and won, she was awardedÂ
a Samurai Sword, it is truly a magnificent pieceÂ
of craftsmanship. As is your poem of which the heart is
with god, who gave some people these skills andÂ
minds to create such works of artÂ
a lovely poem my friend i enjoyedÂ
love n hugs Debs xo

Yay! ~ Thanx DEBS!!.....thanx for sharing the story about your friend........there's a LOT to the history of Metallurgy and sword making.....but still.....to this day.......we cannot replicate what the japanese samurai sword craftsman could do.......even with our current technology.......we still can't figure out how to fold steel thousands of times like the ancients did.....it is the kind of genius that (in any field of study) cannot be reproduced.......most men of genius ALL claim that their initial inspirations came from dreams or some metaphysical force outside of themselves........It is an awesome sight to see a perfect blade capable of cutting through steel like butter.........a gift from the God's?...........smiles.........thanx for this my friend!!........T xo
Hi My Dear Poetic Brother Tony,
The great master craftsmen of the incomparable Samurai Sword, passed down from Father to Son for five hundred years, "Masamune", "Sashu", and "Kanenaka", the Rembrandts of their trade, the masters of the greatest swords ever known, revered in their own time, by the greatest Samurai Warriors. Great write, my friend.
Peace, Love and Rockets,
xox Larry
